File Format
We accept the following file formats TIF, TIFF, JPG, EPS, PNG, AI, CDR,
CPT, PSD, and PDF. Vector formats (EPS, AI, CRD) are preferred. If raster
files are provided (TIF, TIFF, JPG, CPT, PSD) the art must be to size and at
no less than 300 DPI.
Color Mode
All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta,
yellow, black) color mode. All black & white artworks and/or images must be
provided in grayscale color mode.
Color Matching
We will do our best to match provided PMS colors, however due to
limitations inherent on printing on a variety of materials, with those materials
being in a variety of colors, we cannot guarantee 100% matches.
Press Proofs
Press proofs will be provided upon request for a small fee. Please be aware
that requesting and receiving a press proof is not taken into consideration
when quoting turnaround time.
Fonts
a. Fonts must be embedded in PDF files.
b. Fonts must be outlined or converted to paths or curves in EPS, AI, and
CDR files.
c. Some fonts have copyright restrictions and will not embed in PDF Files.

How fast are orders produced?
Most apparel embroidery orders are completed in 5 to 7 business days after
art approval. Larger orders, or those requiring special ordered product, may
take a few days more. Same day and three day rush service is available on
some items.
How much for set up, digitization, etc.?
Turbo Threads doesn't believe in set up charges for apparel embroidery or
printing. We don’t charge for digitizing up to 8000 stitches for orders over
$100. If you logo is larger than 8000 stitches, we will provide you with a
quote before proceeding.
How many stitches will it take to embroidery my logo?
Stitch count is effected by size, detail, and density. If your logo is larger, or
highly detailed, or has a lot of fill stitches, you will have a higher stitch count.
Lettering generally has a lower stitch count than a filled logo. Email your
logo to us and we will give you an estimate.
Can you match my company colors?
We have thread to match many PMS colors, but some threads are just not
made in some colors. We will match your colors as close as possible.
How fast are orders produced?

How much for set up, screen charges, etc.?
Turbo Threads doesn't believe in set up charges for apparel embroidery or
printing. If you provide us with digital ready art, there are absolutely no
additional charges. If you need us to create your artwork from scratch, the
first hour of design time is include in your order! Additional time is available at
an hourly rate of $40 per hour.
How many colors can your print?
We include virtually unlimited colors in our pricing. You don’t pay more just
because you have more than one color in your logo!
Can you match my company colors?
If color matching is critical on your shirts, we can set up a free color selection
session with our production department to make sure your colors are exactly
as you want them.
Do you produce the pens/mugs/keytags yourself?
Turbo Threads is an Advertising Specialty Institute Distributor. We work with
thousands of suppliers to provide companies with quality promotional
products.
How fast are orders produced?
That depends on the supplier. There are many items that have “24 hour”
turnaround - not including shipping time. Most items can be produced in
under two weeks. Because faster often costs more, you should order as far
in advance as you can.
How much for set up, screen charges, etc.?
While many items have no set up charge, some manufacturers have costs
that need to be covered on the first order. These charges are usually only
on the first order and don’t have to be paid again as long as re-orders are
placed within a set period of time.

Can I bleach these white shirts?
Chlorine bleach is not recommended for decorated apparel. Non-chlorine
bleach and Oxy-Clean will safely remove stains without removing the image.
How can I iron my shirts?
It is recommended that you turn your shirts inside out when ironing.
Applying steam to the back of an embroidered design and applying pressure
with the iron will help them lay flat and remove tension wrinkles from the
edge of the embroidery.
What settings should I use when washing and drying my shirts?
You should always follow the laundering instructions located on a tag on
your garment. As a rule of thumb, wash in cold water and tumble dry low.
How do I keep my printed shirts from fading?
Most image fading occurs due to abrasion. Other items in the wash rub up
against the image and cause fibers in the shirt to become “fluffy.” This
makes the image appear faded. Turn your shirts inside out before putting
them in the machine to help keep them looking new!
